Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Image by Samsung
Samsung has just announced its S20 Ultra. Just like Super Computers, this is a SuperPhone. It has 16 GB of RAM which is just more then anyone would need. It has a 100x Zoom with a 108mp Camera and comes with up to 512 GB of storage. Simply this device is everything anyone would want. An under-display fingerprint scanner, A huge 5000 mAh Battery with fast charging support. The S20 completely charges to 100% in 74 mins only. The game-changer S20 Ultra is 5G and just like a flagship device, the S20 Ultra does not have a headphone. Now that’s modern technology!
So, Can the S20 Ultra of Samsung beat the Best iPhone 11 pro max of Apple? Let’s Find Out
Built and Design:
Comparing both the phones side by side we will tell you that Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is 5% bigger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max and 10% thicker than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The S20 Ultra is 6.9’’ in size, making it a huge device. You may not have a one-handed experience, but once you turn it on and start using it the brilliant display won’t make you feel like it’s big to hold with one hand, what I mean to say is you will just dive into the display of S20 Ultra and instead of facing some issues of holding it with one hand, you will enjoy it. Up till now what we see is Samsung is leading as it has the largest display more thickness, but surprisingly it weighs less than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. When you hold the S20 Ultra it just looks amazing. The huge camera module of the S20 Ultra enhances it looks from behind making it look cooler and a real flagship phone. Both the devices do not have an Audio Jack.

The iPhone 11 pro still has a better-built quality when compared to S20 Ultra as it has stainless steel, while Samsung has Aluminum which is 1.2x stronger, as compared to the one used in previous devices, but still when tested the iPhone 11 Pro Stainless steel is a lot stronger. Not only that but when we hold both the phones we can say that iPhone 11 Pro max Matte feels a lot more premium whereas S20 Ultra feels a bit cheaper. The Cameras of the S20 Ultra are protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 which makes a wobble on flat surfaces because of the huge camera module on the back while the iPhone 11 Pro is simple, decent which looks great. Both the devices are IP86 dust and water-resistant.

Even if we know that Samsung has the best display in the mobile market and is a clear winner, we would still love to compare it. Samsung’s S20 Ultra has a 6.9’’ Dynamic AMOLED display while the iPhone 11 Pro max has a 6.5’’ Retina OLED display panel. The S20 Ultra has a QHD display panel with a resolution 1440×3200 as compared to 1242×2688 display of iPhone 11 pro max we can clearly see that the S20 Ultravides more pixels than the iPhone which will result in crisper and clearer picture quality. The S20 Ultra has a refresh rate of 120hz as compared to the 60hz Display panel of the iPhone, as a result, the S20 Ultra provides a smoother display. Both the devices have a brightness level of 800 nits but wait, we know that Samsung has Used its AMOLED display, which results in better color and brightness and this doesn’t end there the punch hole in Samsung galaxy S20 Ultra is 40% smaller as compared to the previous generation devices and it has a 90% screen to body ratio with tiny bezels, it feels like the whole body is covered with display, while the iPhone has an 84% screen to body ratio with uniform bezels and the same flat notch on the top. But here something new the S20 line up doesn’t come with a curved display, we are not sure about the reason so it would be wrong to give a reason of our own but this is something we would miss.
When it comes to performance Apple’s A13 Bionic chip is pretty fast. While Samsung uses Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 (depending upon your region). The 865 is a little bit faster as compared to last generation chipsets, but not more than 10-15%. When it comes to some hardcore games Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset performs a lot better and performs perfectly with most Applications the main reason is because of Apple’s operating system which is very well optimized and doesn’t need a lot of RAM. I am definitely not saying that the S12 Ultra is less powerful. It will perform Good in most Applications better than the Apple iPhone, but not because of the processor but because of the RAM. The S12 ultra comes with up to 16 GB of RAM as compare to the 4GB which will help S12 to perform exceptionally in some applications and with an amazing experience of multitasking better than the iPhone but we shouldn’t expect a miracle as the iPhone’s chipset is faster. The S20 comes with 2x AI performance enhancement features that will help a lot in you while you are gaming.
Samsung’s S20 Ultra comes with an under the display, a fingerprint scanner that performs similar to Samsung’s last year flagship. It also comes with a Facial recognition but its 2D as compared to the 3D face recognition of Apple iPhone 11 pro max which somehow better. But as we all know the iPhone doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner.
When it comes to the Rear Camera’s Samsung has done a really good job. Samsung has 4 cameras on the rear. The S20 Ultra has a 108MP main camera resolution as compared to the 12MP on iPhone. The S20 Ultra has a 48MP telephoto lens that supports 100x Zoom while Apple iPhone has a 10x zoom and both the mobiles have a 12MP identical Ultra-wide camera. An improvement has been seen in the S20 Ultra when it comes to the ultra-wide camera, it isn’t that ultra-wide as compare to previous generation devices but that fish-eye like effect is now no more which is a great improvement The S20 Ultra’s camera can now take some great Night mode pictures, capture a photo in a dark place or scene and hold the camera for 8 seconds and the output is just stunning and better as compared to the iPhones night mode. Now for the first time, you can capture an 8K video with Samsung’s S20 Ultra. We know that it captures it only at 24Fps but still, it’s amazing and yeah, the device does take some time to render these videos. Samsung has an additional depth sensor for a lot of better portrait photos. The S20 Ultra has a super steady mode that stabilized the image or video using its software and it does a really good job. The 100x zoom is not really a 100x room when it comes to actual optical zoom, it’s not even 10x but up to 10x you do get a great zoom, but at a 100x zoom the image is not as expected, it’s not crispier nor good in quality but still it is a great try by Samsung. The S20 Ultra comes with a 48MP selfie camera that simple is amazing and can capture FHD selfie videos while Apple 12MP is also great but we must say that Samsung is really improving its camera technology to catch up and overtake Apple in Best mobile Camera. Overall, we can say that this time Samsung’s camera has taken the lead.
The S10 ultra comes with a massive 5000mAh battery and with this huge battery comes recharging so it supports a 45w super-fast charging with 100% recharge within 70 mins. We can’t make any guesses about the time It can last for both the iPhone 11 pro max battery mAh comes with 3969 has a long-lasting battery. It did last for hours with, even if it was used continuously for hours so we should expect something better or similar from the S10 ultra.
Operating System\ UI\ Software:
Samsung’s S20 Ultra comes with an Android 10 and ONE UI 2.0. It comes with Quick share that enables sharing of files and extras to or from a tablet or PC’s easy. While we haven’t got anything special going on when it comes to the iPhone as it’s the same operating system and user interface like it was about a year ago, but some things that I love about the IOS is its optimization, even with a 4GB of RAM the device is super smooth and can handle apps perfectly.
